This is a Trufam sump system mid-install, and it is the stage that shows exactly why our sump systems cost more than the standard ones.

The downspouts and channel drains are tied in. The main pump chamber and the extra storage chamber sit side by side. The fabric is still open and the granite rock is partly in. Everything that makes the system work is visible right now, before it disappears underground.

What you are paying for

Look at what goes into it. Heavy-duty culvert chambers instead of a small plastic basin. An extra storage chamber for real capacity. Geotextile drainage fabric. Clean granite stone. None of that is the cheapest way to do the job, and that is the point.

Why it lasts

The bigger storage volume means the pump runs less. A pump that cycles less stays cooler and lasts longer, which saves you the cost and hassle of replacing a burned-out pump every couple of years. The capacity also lets the system keep moving water during heavy rain and even during a power outage, when a smaller setup would simply overflow.
